“American”: Fashion, Hot Dogs… Tuna?

It’s time for another round of “American”isms. A nice patriotic drumroll for two examples from the world of fashion:

America Today is a European clothing chain that kind of reminds me of American Eagle: flannel PJ pants, t-shirts with pretend business logos on them. They also sell Oreos and Snapple.

This is from the window of The Sting across the street. Don’t miss the painful “U R what U wear” above the Miss America logo.

Ah, hot dogs. I know they’re terrible for you, and disgusting in concept, but sometimes… I just want to eat one. But maybe not from a can. And certainly not with my American Tuna Salad.
