French candy

I present for your mid-week drooling some photos from the markets of Paris, taken last week. It is a wonderful place to be so fortunate as to be shopping for edibles!

Loose herbs and edible flowers at a small produce stand along Rue de Rivoli

Brebis cheese... stunk up my whole apartment but it was so delicious I didn't care!

Source of the aforementioned cheese: a shop in the 19th arrondissement

Wine shop along Rue Mouffetard

This sign will exist in my personal heaven. (Currently, also along Rue Mouffetard.)

Glorious pumpkins at the Marche des Enfants Rouges

Macaroons: so delicious; and here, so expensive...

I notice that I did not take any pictures of patisserie or boulangerie items. This must be because they did not last long enough.
